Hint: Prison Transport Bus:
During the Jail Break mission, you must drive a prison
transport to the prison. When you get there, a gate will open
Stop in the way of the gate so that it cannot close, and do not
completely enter. There should be a gray school bus to your left
marked "Prison Transport System" on the side. Get into
it, drive to the garage, and store it. Quickly get back to the
prison and into the transport. The mission will continue as usual,
but you ,ust break through the rest of the three gates yourself.
They are easy to break; just drive through them. Note: This vehicle
is only available once.

Hint: Get car on flatbed:
Find a ramp near Hunts Point. Park the flatbed next
to the high side of the ramp. Then find a car from the road and
drive it off the ramp onto the flatbed. Note: Sometimes you will
not be able to get out of the car.

Hint: Easy money:
Win a circuit race without hitting the wall or the
other racers to earn a $10,000 clean driver bonus.
On your third mission where Ray asks you to collect $1,500 and
deliver the money to his Auto Shop in La Guardia, enter the La
Guardia Circuit Race. Win first place under any difficulty setting.
Upon completion of the race, the Circuit will close and you will
not be able to race again. Save the game (provided that the autosave
feature is turned off) and restart the mission. The La Guardia
Circuit Race will then be re-opened, but you will retain the money
you won from the last race. Repeat this to continue earning as
much money as desired. Once you have the money you need, return
to Ray's Auto Shop and to the green marker to make upgrades to
your cars. This makes it easier to win the La Guardia Races. To
complete the mission and continue the game, have at least $1,500
and go to the yellow marker at Ray's Auto Shop at the start of
the mission.

police headquarters.
If you look closely at some cars, you will notice they are exact
replicas to some cars around the city in the original Driver.
Every traffic car from the first installment of Driver
is here, since both games are set in the 1970's.

Hint: DRIV3R reference:

Go outside the building where you got shot by the
corrupt policeman in the "Kidnap" mission in the 1978
Era. Use a gun to zoom in on the contents of the yellow dumpsters
to thrown away copies of DRIV3R.

Hint: Stuntman reference:

Stuntman posters are visible on the walls
of the 1978 safe house.

Hint: Programmer references:
Look on the newspapers blowing around the streets,
taxi signs, the safe house dart board, and the safe house refrigerator
door to see photos of the development team.
The Reflections logo can be seen as graffiti on some walls.
The Atari logo can be seen on a neon signs at Times Square.

Glitch: Fence behavior:
Hit an AI car on its side and have it smash through
a destructible fence. The car will go through the fence without
damaging the car or fence. Follow the AI car through the fence,
and you will smash the fence. Note: Try this near Ray's Auto Shop.

Glitch: Enter Riker's Island:
Drive the prison van to Riker's Island. Once there,
get out of the van and take another vehicle. Drive the vehicle
and park it facing the wall. Then, using the prison van, push
the vehicle slowly. Note: Do not push the vehicle too much. Leave
a portion of the vehicle outside so you can enter it. Get out
of the prison van and walk near the vehicle you pushed and you
will pass through the wall. Enter the vehicle and you now be inside
Riker's Island. If you want to go into the prison building, try
it in the 1978 Era, where there is a bulldozer that you can use
to bulldoze the wall.

Glitch: Stuck in car:
Get in a police chase. Put your car where the police
will ram it. Time it correctly and get out as soon as the police
car rams you. You will become stuck in your car standing in the
middle of the inside. The police will not shoot you and you can
be safe forever.

Glitch: Text capitalization:
In Rays Auto Shop, go to the "Pick A Vehicle"
menu. Scroll across to the Swat Van. Just before the vehicle loads,
its name goes into full capitals for a moment, then back to normal.
